Thomas Goode & Co. are proud to have been granted Royal Warrants from both Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and HRH Prince of Wales.
Continuously holding Royal Warrants since 1863 when HRH Edward Prince of Wales bestowed the first Royal Warrant, Thomas Goode & Co. today are proud to hold Royal Warrants from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and HRH Prince of Wales.
The business has been privileged to enjoy a long standing relationship with the British Royal Family which continues to this day. Notable highlights of the ongoing relationship include, for example, the commemorative dinner service created for Queen Victoria’s 80th birthday celebrations; and, in recent times, Thomas Goode & Co. has created bespoke china for Queen Elizabeth II and, of particular interest, was commissioned in 1981 to create the dinner service for Their Royal Highnesses The Prince and Princess of Wales on the occasion of their wedding.
In addition to great services created for the British monarchy, the Thomas Goode & Co. archive showcases examples of many of the most esteemed dinner service designs that the company has commissioned on behalf of Royalty worldwide; including, and not least, a service for Tsar Nicholas II (based on a Sevres pattern first designed for Catherine The Great), the dinner service for the silver wedding of the Crown Prince and Princess of Germany (and also for their Imperial Golden Wedding), and even a minature-scale tea set commissioned by Queen Mary for her Doll’s House.
